Every year, communities across the nation come together to recognize Wear Orange, a movement dedicated to honoring the lives of those affected by gun violence and advocating for safer communities. What began as a tribute to a young life lost has grown into a powerful national movement that unites survivors, families, advocates, and community members in the fight to end gun violence.
The color orange was chosen because it is the color hunters wear in the woods to protect themselves and others. Today, orange has become a symbol of safety, remembrance, and hope for communities impacted by gun violence.
